How to make a mixed fruit sauce mahi mahi?
Mahi mahi Im making, and suggests the service of a fruit sauce of it. I have frozen mixed berries (blue, rasp, and black) How can I make a sauce? I have no 'alcohol', such as wine, sherry, etc … but has many other ingredients. thanks!
You do not need any alcohol for a fruit sauce. That just put some frozen berries in a pan and start cooking on medium heat. They are probably and sweet and will release the moisture to be frozen. If it seems too thin, add a little cornstarch to thicken, but then you have to take up to a boil, "cooking" corn flour and make clear syrup again. So add the cornstarch to a little water and stir before adding to the berries are heated. Thicken more as it cools.
